While there's little to talk about until the new season of The Bachelor premieres (Monday, January 2nd), I'd like to take a minute to talk about the leading man- Ben Flajnik. Admittedly, I was a little surprised when they chose him to be the next Bachelor, but it made perfect sense after reflecting on the other candidates. Did we really want to listen to Ryan's everything-is-wonderful dialogue, have a bachelor with a masked face, or worse have the likes of Bentley manipulating 25 women? The only other acceptable choices would have been Ames or Lucas in my opinion.
Back to Ben- he's funny, smart, successful, and romantic among other things. He acted the way a man should after Ashley rejected him by not letting her sugarcoat her decision or compliment her way through it. I think this season will be a good one, so let the countdown begin!
